To make a strawberry and banana fruit smoothie with Caffe D’Vita’s vanilla base:

For a 16 ounce drink, pour 2 level scoops of powder into the blender. Our 60cc scoop is included in each food service case. Add 1 ½ cups of cubed ice, ½ cup of fresh or frozen strawberries, ½ cup of fresh or frozen bananas, then 4 ounces of water. Feel free to add or substitute flavored syrups or fruit concentrates to taste. Blend for 20 – 30 seconds until smooth. Shake and pour into cup. Add your favorite toppings including whipped cream and a strawberry garnish.

To make an orange creamsicle smoothie with Caffe D’Vita’s vanilla base:

For a 16 ounce drink, pour 2 level scoops of powder into the blender. Our 60cc scoop is included in each food service case. Add 1 ½ cups of cubed ice, then 4 ounces of orange juice. Blend for 20 – 30 seconds until smooth. Shake and pour into cup. Add your favorite toppings including whipped cream and an orange slice garnish.

Ring in the New Year with Caffe D‘Vita’s Premium Cappuccino Drinks

The celebration of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day dates back as far as 153 BC. The use of January 1st as the official date stems from Julius Caesar’s calendar reform back in 46 BC, when he switched the Roman calendar from a lunar-based system to a solar-based one. It was this calendar reformation that earned him the honor of having his birth month (July) named after him. While the date changed for a short while during the Middle Ages, January 1st has marked a new calendar year ever since.

2,056 years later, New Year’s still ushers in a high-spirited sense of renewal across the globe. Glasses clink and cheers ring high as people all over the world watch the infamous New Years Eve Ball drop over Times Square. Confetti will fly and noisemakers will sound through the crisp air as 2011 brings with it a fresh, optimistic energy–filled with the hope and promise of a fantastic new year.

This year, celebrate your fresh start with these delicious drink recipes using Caffe D’Vita’s Peppermint Cappuccino and Amaretto Cappuccino. These recipes can be served either hot or cold and are designed for individual servings.

Peppermint Cappuccino:

First, pour 1/3 cup (about 3 ounces) of Caffe D’Vita’s Peppermint Cappuccino premium mix into a blender (for the hot version, see below). Add 3 ounces of water and 3 ounces of Peppermint Schnapps (or any peppermint liqueur) and a 16 oz cup-full of ice. Blend everything together and serve it with whipped cream and a fresh mint leaf.

For the hot version, pour 1/3 cup (3 ounces) of Caffe D’Vita’s Peppermint Cappuccino premium mix into a small saucepan. Add the 3 ounces of water, heat everything together, remembering to stir (be careful not to boil it!!) Once everything is heated, add 3 ounces of Peppermint Schnapps (or any peppermint liqueur) before serving it in a warm mug with a peppermint stick.

For more servings, simply multiply the ingredients.

Amaretto Cappuccino:

First, pour 1/3 cup (about 3 ounces) of Caffe D’Vita’s Amaretto Cappuccino premium mix into a blender (for the hot version, see below). Add 4 ounces of orange juice, 1 ounce of Grenadine, 1 ounce of Amaretto liqueur and a 16 oz cup-full of ice. Blend everything together and serve it with whipped cream and powdered dark chocolate.

For the hot version, pour 1/3 cup (3 ounces) of Caffe D’Vita’s Amaretto Cappuccino premium mix into a small saucepan. Add the 4 ounces of orange juice and 1 ounce of Grenadine. Heat everything together, remembering to stir (be careful not to boil it!!) Once everything is heated, add 1 ounce of Amaretto before serving it in a warm mug with 2 Pepperidge Farm Pirouette rolled wafers.

For more servings, simply multiply the ingredients.
