Just what is a base?
Our base is a perfectly balanced neutral tasting coffee-free powder made from premium ingredients. It has a hint of vanilla flavor to enhance the taste profile and is the perfect product base for any barista or mixologist to use in creating exciting drinks. To make a blended iced coffee with Caffe D’Vita’s vanilla base:
For a 16 ounce drink, pour 2 level scoops of powder into the blender. Our 60cc scoop is included in each food service case. Add 1 ½ cups of cubed ice, then 4 ounces of cold espresso (3 shots) or cold brewed coffee. Blend for 20 – 30 seconds until smooth. Shake and pour into cup. Add your favorite toppings including whipped cream, sprinkles, or a favorite syrup.
To make a strawberry and banana fruit smoothie with Caffe D’Vita’s vanilla base:
For a 16 ounce drink, pour 2 level scoops of powder into the blender. Our 60cc scoop is included in each food service case. Add 1 ½ cups of cubed ice, ½ cup of fresh or frozen strawberries, ½ cup of fresh or frozen bananas, then 4 ounces of water. Feel free to add or substitute flavored syrups or fruit concentrates to taste. Blend for 20 – 30 seconds until smooth. Shake and pour into cup. Add your favorite toppings including whipped cream and a strawberry garnish.
To make an orange creamsicle smoothie with Caffe D’Vita’s vanilla base:
For a 16 ounce drink, pour 2 level scoops of powder into the blender. Our 60cc scoop is included in each food service case. Add 1 ½ cups of cubed ice, then 4 ounces of orange juice. Blend for 20 – 30 seconds until smooth. Shake and pour into cup. Add your favorite toppings including whipped cream and an orange slice garnish.
